Bougie Redbull Vodka 2 Ways (feat. Cocktail Mom!)
There's nothing to get the party started like a good espresso martini, or as I call it, the bougie redbull vodka. Let's be real about what it is folks! Now in this video I make the classic recipe that my wife loves, and one I saw @AndersErickson make with cognac. Give them a both try and see which you prefer!

1 oz. (30 ml) Coffee Liqueur
1 oz. (30 ml) Espresso
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup
3 coffee beans for garnish
Combine all ingredients in shaker tin with 1 large ice cube and one smaller one (the agitator) and shake vigorously. Double strain into a chilled martini, coupe, or whichever glass you prefer.
// Anders Erickson (cognac) version
1 oz. (30 ml) Cognac
1 oz. (30 ml) Coffee Liqueur
1 oz. (30 ml) Espresso
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) rich Demerara (brown sugar) syrup (2:1 sugar to water ratio)
3 coffee beans for garnish
2 Lemon peels
Start by expression the oil of one lemon peel into your shaker tin. Then add all ingredients in shaker tin with 1 large ice cube and one smaller one (the agitator) and shake vigorously. Double strain into a chilled martini, coupe, or whichever glass you prefer. Express lemon peel over top when done.
// History of the Espresso Martini (rumored)
The Espresso Martini was born in London in the late 1980s, when legendary bartender Dick Bradsell created it at the request of a model who famously asked for a drink that would “wake me up, and then f*ck me up.” Originally called the Vodka Espresso, the cocktail combined fresh espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, and sugar—blending café culture with the nightlife boom of the era. Though it faded in the early 2000s, the Espresso Martini came roaring back in the 2010s thanks to the craft cocktail revival and global coffee obsession. Today, it’s one of the most ordered modern classics in the world.
